A few years ago we developed a product composed of various plastic items. The CAPEX investments have now been written off and the client hopes to rejuvenate his product and lower its production costs.
The solution by Placor
Placor reviewed the design of the product in order to simplify its production. We reduced the number of components and reviewed the design. We increased the number of imprints in the new moulds to reduce production costs by responding to the requirements of the market to a greater extent. Placor mobilised its network of mould-makers and subcontractors to achieve minimum investment. The outcome was a drop in production costs of 25% and the new moulds were written off quickly.
